Overview & Highlights

Welcome to Pizzeria Orion La Veranda, a culinary gem located in the picturesque town of Orosei, Italy. Nestled at Via del Mare, 83, this inviting pizza restaurant has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. With a reputation for crafting some of the finest pizzas around, it's no wonder that a reservation is essential during the bustling season.

As we journey through the vibrant reviews, it's clear that the star at La Veranda is the Pizza Preciosa. One delighted customer, Milan Béreš, exclaimed that it was "the best pizza we ever had in our life," a testament to its exceptional quality and flavor. Add to that the warm and attentive service, and you have an experience that lingers in the memory long after the last bite.

The dough at Pizzeria Orion strikes a perfect balance, achieving that ideal mix of softness and crunch that enhances every slice. Highlights include the fan-favorite Napoli girl pizza featuring rich buffala mozzarella, and the vibrant flavors found in their gluten-free offerings. As Tony A. noted, the grilled tuna steak and four cheese pizza are worth celebrating as well, showcasing the diversity of the menu.

However, not all reviews have been flawless. Malgorzata Nogala mentioned slight service delays and a couple of disappointing appetizers, yet still hailed the panko-crusted tuna and their signature pizzas as "absolutely the best." This speaks to La Veranda's ability to bounce back from minor setbacks, reaffirming its commitment to quality.

For those who may find themselves fortunate enough to visit during quieter times, like Lisa did in October, a more relaxed dining experience awaits. Her heartfelt declaration, "I will cherish it and love it and remember it forever and ever," sums up the lasting impressions that Pizzeria Orion La Veranda leaves on its guests.

If you find yourself in the beautiful surroundings of Orosei, make sure to stop by Pizzeria Orion La Veranda. With its delightful menu, charming ambiance, and friendly staff, every visit promises to be a memorable culinary adventure.

Pizza Preciosa was the best pizza that we ever had in our life. Staff was very kind, fast and helpful! Reservation is required, they are always full during the season. Pizza “Devil”was a little bit worse than comparable Pizza Diavola in “Da Alfonso” in Bratislava. However, it was still 5/5 :). If you would visit Bratislava in Slovakia, definitely dont miss Da Alfonso too! :)

Initially we came because of the pictures, the pizzas looked amazing! And what can I tell you - they taste as amazing as they look. The dough was perfectly soft but also a bit crunchy, the toppings were super delicious and the starters also amazing. So good, that we went TWICE, just because it tasted unbelievably good. I will never forget this pizza - I will cherish it and love it and remember it forever and ever. In October we were pretty lucky and it was not super packed, so our experience with service and waiting time was totally fine.

The simple Napoli girl pizza with buffala mozzarella was very good, so was the grilled tuna steak, tuna tartare and 4 cheese pizza. They also made a special gluten free cheese plate for us.

We spent here really great time and the food in general was delicious but we waited a long time to place the order and received appetizers with a main dish. Fried culuriones were dry and hard and I could barely taste the mint. Maybe it should be prepared that way but I’ve had better ones elsewhere. Nevertheless I must admit that panko crusted tuna and pizza were absolutely the best

We visited this pizzeria around 7 pm without a reservation and were able to get a table right away, which we really appreciated. The pizza was good, freshly made and enjoyable, though nothing particularly exceptional or memorable. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re in the area and looking for a straightforward pizza experience without too much fuss.

First recommended restaurant by our host. So good we came twice in our four days in Orosei. Margherita pizza and tuna steak were absolutely perfect! As well as the tiramisu / pistachio tiramisu. We could have eaten the same thing all week. Carbonara and fregola were also great choices. Was just a bit disappointed that there were so few clams. Had to sit inside due to my husband's allergies, but the terrace looked very cozy. Service was always friendly but sometimes a bit inattentive - waited about 10 minutes after being seated before we asked for someone to take our drink order.

Unbelievable delicious! Pizza Orion, Cuddle Mix, Octopus. All of it very unique. Pizza is the best we ever had! P.S. So good, we went again next day. Same Experience
